Organisation & Benefactors

Collegium Juris is owned by the commercial foundation, Fonden Collegium Juris, which was founded by the Faculty of Law at the University of Copenhagen. The foundation is managed by a board, which acts as the supreme authority of the hall, according to the charter of the foundation. The daily operation at Collegium Juris is handled by the ephor with input from a hall of residence council – the Fellows Council of Collegium Juris.

The Board

The board of the Fonden Collegium Juris has the overall responsibility for the finances and operations of Collegium Juris. The board handles the hall’s interests and establishes guidelines for its organisation, activities, and development. It consists of seven members including two residents, who are elected once a year.

The current board members are:

  • Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Copenhagen Jacob Graff Nielsen (chairman)

  • Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law at the University of Copenhagen Sune Klinge (ephor)

  • Lawyer Peter Fogh

  • Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice Lennart Christian Houmann

  • Supreme Court Judge Jon Ulrik Stokholm

  • Resident representative Ask Baaner

  • Resident representative Anne Sophie Melgaard Madsen 

 

 
 


The Fellows' Council

The Fellows Council consists of the ephor of Collegium Juris and one resident representative from each of the four floors. The floor representatives advise the ephor in all matters essential to the hall, including the budget, accounts, and rent issues.

The current members of Fellows Council are:

The Ephor of Collegium Juris

The ephor at the Collegium Juris is Assistant Professor, PhD Sune Klinge. Sune Klinge is employed at the Faculty of Law at the University of Copenhagen.
